Automation systems for industrial doors

At the production stage, VERDOOR industrial doors are integrated with motor units supplied by the German company SOMMER. The door control system come in the basic variant as the TOTMAN system (up/down button) or with the advanced GIGAsedo control unit by SOMMER. The latter allows the expansion of the system to include numerous automatic operation options. All programming activities in the GIGASEDO control unit are done using buttons located on the device housing, without the need to look inside. The LCD text display with the system menu allows trouble-free programming. Any protective elements installed are identified and assigned automatically. Recognition of the direction of rotation and the change of direction of rotation by means of buttons integrated with the housing, automatic correction of inertial movement and simple programming of the connected frequency converter are just some of the advantages of this modern control unit. Safe operation of the motor is ensured by two different access codes to the programming menu: one for installers and one for the building maintenance personnel. Errors and reports are displayed as text on the large and legible display (can be optionally backlit). A noteworthy advantage of the GIGAsedo control unit is compatibility with various third-party motors. Thanks to the many advantages of this device, VERDOOR industrial doors can be adjusted or upgraded to match the changing users’ needs.
